"Everything that it says it is, nothing more, nothing less, so A+ for truth in advertising. The Indigo is a new and charming, boutique-y hotel with nicely appointed rooms and comfy beds. It's great for a mid-level hotel experience, friendly service and suffices nicely for either the business or leisure traveler. Big pluses include a WAY better-than-expected fitness center (see my pics!), surprisingly inexpensive, varied dining menu and free computer/printing stations in the lobby. Walls are kind of thin though, and the rooms do not have central air (they're wall-units), so I can see that potentially being a challenge in the Scottsdale summer. All in all though, for the same price as, say, the Hyatt Place down the block, the Indigo has way better rooms, guest services and amenities. I'll be back for sure!" (Jen H. on Yelp October 2009)

"Incredible Hotel for the Price" I have stayed at Indigo over a dozen times on business and pleasure as I am out in Arizona alot. The location is right in the middle of great restaurants, etc. and the rooms are very cool but also very functional. I am writing finally because this time the staff went out of the way even more than they usually do to make everything easy for my stay. It feels like a much smaller hotel than it is because the people who work there are so friendly. Cool art work, great modern design, and compared to the W or Valley Ho, you can't beat this location, room, and design for the $$...... (TripAdvisor September 14, 2009)

This is what I think of Hotel Indigo. A well priced, nicely furnished hotel. It's not pretending to be a 5 star resort. But what it aims for, it does well. A small hotel that is hip and located within walking distance to Scottsdale nightlife. Free internet, fairly spacious rooms, nice bar/lobby area. Pool area is a bit small, but again, this place is trying to be a resort. I'll definitely be coming back. (Yelp.com September 6, 2009)

Great, friendly Staff, would definitely good back - I had read previous reviews about this hotel so I knew some of the criticism. Fortunately we didn't have any problems and enjoyed our stay. The staff is definitely their best asset - everyone was friendly, helpful, and made great suggestions for food and activities. They even remembered us and asked how we liked certain restaurants they suggested. The decor is definitely different - trying to maintain a hip, sleek atmosphere. Great patio for having a cocktail. Spring Training Weekend - Very nice hotel with modern furnishings. Great destination for the younger crowd. Employees were all very nice and helpful. "Great Location, Room, & Terrific Staff" - Being my first time in Scottsdale, I stayed in OldTown. Great Choice. This Hotel Indigo was my 1st time staying in the Brand. I was very impressed from the time I checked in. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was alone so I needed some direction on nightlife and food. All of the places I was guided to I would go to again. Was a great change of pace having Hardwood floors in my Hotel Room. Bed was comfortable, bathroom had nice amenities, & a clean room is always a plus. I didn't eat in the restaurant, but I did have a few drinks, and the out door deck was nice to relax on after a day of touring around. If you have the chance, stay here, you won't be disappointed. "Loved the Hotel Indigo - Great atmosphere" - My husband and I travel to Scottsdale frequently, about once every 2 months to visit Dad, so we vary the hotels to keep things interesting. Our last visit (for Dads 93 birthday) we chose the Indigo. What a fun hotel...decor put you in a great mood immediately.. We selected an executive suite and it was very, very nice. Plenty of room, nice view, comfy bed and linens with plenty of pillows. I also liked the Aveda products. Wood floors a definite plus and the room was very clean. Everyone at the hotel was exceptionally friendly, especially the bar tenders who seemed to be in a perpetual good moods. This hotel is a "keeper" and we will positively return on future visits. "Definitely Coming Back" - Very nice hotel filled with great personalities. Everyone my husband and I came in contact with was delightful. The location is fantastic. We were able to walk just about everywhere. We also tried their complimentary car service. This was a great perk. Of all the dozens of hotels we've stayed in during our coast to coast trip so far, this was by far the best. We even extended our stay to an entire week after having so much fun here. "What an awesome hotel in an unbelievable location!!!
I was very impressed with the Hotel Indigo...from the staff to the room and everything in between. We had no issues whatsoever; in fact, we had such a pleasant night. The bed was very comfortable, which is major! We were in walking distance of EVERYTHING, which was SO convenient! The only downfall was no room service after midnight, but apparently several places will deliver, and we ended up ordering Domino's (yuck!). Overall, I give this hotel two thumbs up (and I am very picky). We will DEFINITELY be staying there again, and I will recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Scottsdale!" March 2009 (Trip Advisor)

This Hotel was simply awesome!! I went to Scottsdale to enjoy spring training baseball and had a great time and it all started with the Indigo Hotel. The staff was great and the rooms were unbelieveable. This Hotel is so close to Scottsdale Stadium that you can walk to the games with no problem. "Fabulous staff
Stayed at the Indigo four nights. Nice location near shopping, Scottsdale Boulevard, Old Town, & Art section. Hotel is in quiet area, but a party area on Saturday nights. Very nice clean, functional rooms. Rooms are well set up if you have to work. All staff members extremely courteous and helpful. Nice breakfast and bar area, free access to internet, free drinks at cocktail hour, that makes it truly a happy hour. Can't overstate how nice the staff is. Must be good management and training. “Impeccable Experience
My wife and I travel several weeks throughout the year both on business and leisure. The service at this hotel inspired us to finally sign up with TA and share our wonderful experience. That’s how great it was! This hotel is truly a hidden gem. Having been to Scottsdale several times in the recent past, I was surprised to not have heard of the Indigo sooner. Usually we stay at the Firesky or Hotel Valley Ho. Recently we even paid the heavy price to try out the new W, which wasn't really worth it. That review to follow soon. We are very fond of the other resorts and have always had pleasant experiences. However, they simply cannot compete with the value and personality of the Indigo. The location is impossible to beat. You are surrounded by numerous restaurants, bars and entertainment venues, all within walking distance. Being so close to Scottsdale Fashion Mall is a huge plus too; for the wife anyway. We did find that the area was buzzing during the weekend in the immediate area and can understand how this activity could be a distraction for some guests. We read some other reviews citing the neighborhood noise, and are glad to have tried it out anyway. The entrance is quirky and doesn't do the rest of the hotel justice. Beyond that, the place is gorgeous! I think this hotel is about being in the middle of the action while still being able to provide a relaxing and charming experience. New gym, fantastic patio/bar area and phenomenal service. There front line staff and especially bartenders are some of the best we have ever experienced in all of our travels. "Great for the price!
My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Indigo for five nights while on a mini vacation. The location made it easy to visit all points of interest. The room was amazingly clean, and the bed extremely comfortable. My only complaint was that there was no refrigerator in the room, and the breakfast menu was too gourmet for our tastes and pocketbook. This made it inconvenient to have a quick breakfast in the room before we headed out for the day. We are considered "senior citizens," and certainly the staff looked like they were teenagers, but they couldn't have been more friendly and helpful." March 2009 (Trip Advisor)

"Excellent Hotel and Service A1All The Way!!!!!
Let me first say that this hotel is not given the true credit it deserves. The staff and hotel were the best in the business. I was in Scottsdale for business over a 4 night stay. I had a meeting at another hotel about 1 mile away and I loved the personal driver service offered by the hotel everyday. They dropped me off and picked me up took me to the mall and even to the salon to get my hair done. Nicole, Rick and James were the best. Nicole you are a gem thanks for everything you did for me and the special treat you gave me for my dog Kai. He loved the toy. Rick you were the best I enjoyed you providing me a great experience during my stay. James your hospitality was the best. I will definitely stay at this hotel if I am ever in the Scottsdale area. Although it is not a resort hotel the urban sheek and cleanliness of the hotel cannot be beat!!!" December 2008 (Trip Advisor)

3/29/2009 -- I just wanted to point out that I am traveling with my husband and four kids and that the day of our arrival we had several issues. Our travels to Arizona included over six hours of delays plus over a four hour flight. Needless to say, by the time we arrived at the hotel we were all very exhausted and not very happy. But the staff at your hotel was very quick with checking us in to our room, sending us a crib for my youngest son and offering to help in any way possible. Through-out our stay, every single staff member has went out of their way to see if we need anything and ensure this is a great trip for me and my family. Thank you Hotel Indigo Scottsdale.
3/29/2009 -- Parking was a little confusing but the guy downstairs was always nice and helpful finding a spot. Everyone was great, especially the bartenders.

3/20/2009 -- I had a very nice stay and the front desk people, especially Gina was so very helpful to me. I had a bad allergic reaction in my eye to the chlorine in the pool and she was quick and curtious in helping me figure out just what to do. She was a Gem! Thank you Gina! Michael and James were also very exceptional.

3/6/2009 -- We had originally planned to stay downtown at the Sheraton where the Professional Conference was being held over a 4 day period. I am so grateful, I looked a little further on line and took at chance booking your hotel, one I was unfamiliar with but was attracted by the reasonable price. The Indigo in Scottsdale is in a very busy "night life" area. The hotel has made a good effort to limit the noise by installing and keeping the thick doors to the rooms on the lobby floor closed during the evenings. I could hear the "din" of the social life outside, it wasn't overwhelming and I slept fine. My 3 co-workers and myself were really impressed with the staff and the overall look and feel of the Indigo Hotel in Phoenix. It was clean and had a light, fresh, relaxing feel to the entire place. The staff was amazing. Every person from the front desk, to general support were friendly, helpful and patient. Hotel Indigo's staff's service was outstanding in comparison to the many hotels and resorts I have personally stayed at over the past few years. They were consistently helpful, thoughtful, patient and kind. It is their service that really made out stay there outstanding and why I decided to write this review. Special thanks to Michael, who helped me with connections with the on-site computer, James, who gave generously of his time to go over some local maps and gave great directions and suggestions for some local sites, to Brecc, one of the parking lot attendants who took the time to help me turn off my car alarm and helped me carry in my many parcels, to Julio, who stopped what he was doing to help me pour a glass of water from the wonderful iced lemon water cooler in the foyer when he saw I only had one hand free to fill my glass. Please know that there were other friendly, helpful faces while we were there, giving warm smile and a cheerful, "good day" on our leaving and returning the Hotel. I wish I could remember all their names. I have already recommended your hotel to several colleagues planning on attending conferences in the area and will continue to do as long as they keep coming back with the same feeling I did-Hotel Ingigo made work travel easier because it was a great place to come home at the end of the day to. The only issue that I would mention, besides the H/S internet would be that the bathroom had a mold smell...which is hard to do in Arizona!!! But all said, your hotel rated an 11 on a scale of 1-10!"
